hey guys, been a while and I figured I'd just update my progress on the previous post. haven't had a whole lot of time to work on it because of the jon fair we recently had at school. it was cool cause most of us 2d guys got a storyboard or character test from "family guy". I plan to try my hardest. we'll see what happens. anyways, hope all is well with everyone.

glad to hear the jon fair went well. those are tough, especially if your name isnt jon. Even if your name is spelled John with an H theres no guarantee of getting anything. But jon fairs aside, this piece is coming along nicely I see. He looks hungry, is he going to eat that plant hes got?

yes, I tell ya man jon fairs are the hardest kind of fairs and don't you let anyone tell you different. I think I might have him scaning the plant with a lazer eye beam. not sure yet.

BEAUTIFUL! im glad you got to work on it some more...i really love it. geeh...i didnt get to go to the jon fair....i was stuck at the little ol boring job fair.hmmm...maybe someone would have liked me over there:)

Nice work! This is a great little piece and I like how you've colored it. The green in the midground feels a little hot though but that's pretty minor stuff. Good luck with the Family Guy test. Is that from Rough Draft? One of my old storyboarding instructors works there as an assistant director. He's a nice guy so hopefully you'll get a chance to work with him. Thanks for your comments too, I appreciate it!
